The human development and family science program provides you in-class and field experiences so you can practice working with individuals and 家庭 across the lifespan from various cultures and social settings.
- Create and co-facilitate learning experiences for toddlers and preschool aged 孩子们 at the Bernice M. Wright Child Development Laboratory School, an inclusive early childhood education program on campus.
- Gain experience working with and advocating for different populations in diverse cultural contexts.
- Complete internships in educational and community settings that focus on youth and family development and nonprofit management in local schools, community organizations and hospitals.
- Join faculty members as they research areas such as marriage, crises in 家庭 and parenting.
